UAWiFi Wireless Network

Wireless networking, within the Eller College of Management, is provided by
the UA Wireless network (also known as UAWiFi). For more information on the UAWifi

Wireless Network connectivity is designed
to supplement the existing building wired network and is not meant
as a replacement for the wired network.
While the ability to connect to the internet without a wire is
beneficial, current wireless technology is not designed to handle
high-bandwidth/high-density applications. The overall benefits for
wireless technology are the enhanced mobility that it provides for
notebook users and the ability to provide network access to areas
where wired installation would be difficult or very costly.
Practically all of McClelland Hall is covered by a wireless network.
802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11a
wireless standards are provided throughout the building as well
as outside patio areas.
In order to connect and use the UAWifi network,
you must complete a few registration steps and configure your wireless card.
